Comprehensive Audits Based on Evidence-Based Processes and Best Practices

Audits are conducted through careful and thorough review of how services are delivered, where, why and the inherent cost implications in the healthcare system.  The best practices will be met along with a validation that the agency health system structure for corrections provides all services that meet legal, professional and constitutional standards.

  • Use industry-proven project management practices throughout the project to reduce overall risk by detecting and correcting variances, where necessary, as early as possible in the life cycle.
  • Provide appropriate and timely reports and information to the County/Probation and to the project team and stakeholders.
  • Develop a Communication Plan that provides for timely and accurate project communication between the project team, executive management, project stakeholders, and project partner agencies to ensure management visibility into the project management processes.
  • Investigate, assess, and document project risks and issues so appropriate resolution, mitigation and/or contingency planning occurs to lessen adverse effects on project cost, schedule, and/or quality.

Fidelis completes a comprehensive diagnostic review of current healthcare delivery systems at both the administrative and direct care levels.  Our accredited Consultants (NCCHC, ACA, and/or IMQ), integrate their accreditation experience, direct observations, conversations, and data review to deliver an assessment of current staffing and service levels based on the uniqueness of the agency’s respective facilities.  This approach will furthermore lay the groundwork to ensure that the 4 basic principles of correctional healthcare are maintained:  Quality, Access, Cost Management and Care Transition.  These are paramount to maintain and deliver an effective, efficient and quality program.
