Fidelis Professional Services, Inc. is a certified trainer with the California Board of State and Community Corrections (BSCC), Standards and Training for Corrections (STC). The Training & Education Department is committed to providing top-tier training solutions that empower Corrections professionals with the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in a complex and evolving environment.  We offer a comprehensive range of services, including Training Program Development, Training and Instruction, Facilitation, and Coaching, all designed to enhance the capabilities of your staff and improve overall operational efficiency.

We work closely with agencies on the custom development of courses that are specifically tailored to the unique needs, goals, regulatory requirements, and specifications of each agency. Fidelis implements a tailored Project Management approach and methodology with the instructional design approach, and the integration of adult learning principles an experiential training methods.  Fidelis focuses the curriculum on effective and performance improvement outcomes, ensuring the following core learning values are met:
- Relevancy: Connecting course objectives and materials to actual direct and relevant experiences, current industry best practices, knowledge, and the City goals. The skills and concepts learned in the classroom or workshop are easily transferred and applied to actual challenges and situations on the job.

Fidelis is adept at using any of the industry standard course development, in alignment with STC standards and requirements. Our approach utilizes effective and pertinent characteristics and phases of the different models (specific to the agency), which we then combine and modify, to suit the agency’s needs and requirements. These training programs are designed to address both the tactical, strategic, and interpersonal challenges faced by Corrections personnel, ensuring they are equipped with the necessary tools to excel in their roles.
Our Trainers, Instructors, and Facilitators utilize Face-to-Face Instructor-Led Training, Zoom or Microsoft Teams, and E-Learning (online courses, virtual training sessions, and self-paced modules). They lead interactive, results-driven learning experiences that encourage collaboration, critical thinking, and problem-solving.
